The Doctor has been through many a journey in his lifetime, from escaping the Last Great Time War of Gallifrey to facing the question that must never be asked at the Fields of Trenzalore. All throughout his astonishing thousand years of existence he’s met good people, bad people, alien people, and tons of human people, and not once has he met someone who wasn’t important. He’s saved entire planets and races, and even species from going extinct and I don’t think he’s ever been properly thanked. Not since he’s deleted himself from all records in the Universe, at least!
Thank you, Doctor. For not only saving the people in your universe but the people in ours. You’ve made Saturday nights one of the best nights of the week and even though your seventh series is ending tomorrow, I look forward to 50 more years of awesome. I look forward to more jumps in time to the future, and leaps back in history; to more stops at new planets and solar systems and accidental TARDIS landings in dangerous situations; to falling in love with more companions and falling apart when they leave.
You are the best emotional roller coaster a fan could ever jump in on, so thank you, Doctor. You are my savior.

My aunt met someone at her store who worked on the set of The Avengers and he told her about how RDJ and Tom Hiddleston were always pranking each other on set and how Robert and Tom were doing a scene together and Robert couldn’t stay still in his Iron Man suit because he was feeling really uncomfortable so they had to take a break and during break Tom walked up to Robert and said, “It’s called itching powder”, took a sip of his water, and walked away.
